Standard Duty Hinged Belt Chip

The Standard Duty Hinged Belt Chip Conveyor is designed to efficiently and reliably remove waste from machining operations while increasing production, decreasing maintenance, and providing a safer operator environment. FARRIS Conveyors are ideal for extracting large broken, coarse, and/or stringy chips (damp or dry), borings, and plastics for the machine tool industry. All Conveyors are custom built to meet specific customer requirements which may include the conveying of stampings, parts, and discharging into customer-site specific disposal systems.

FARRIS Conveyors are provided, as a standard, with a 12 gauge carbon steel ‘unibody’ construction that resists wear and eliminates potential leaks, abrasion resistant alloys in high wear areas, belt components of work hardened steel and a powdercoated finish to customers’ specifications. A ball detent clutch is a standard that protects the Gearmotor from overloads and more than approximately 90% of Conveyor stoppages without interruptions to production.

Spare Parts

FARRIS Conveyor can immediately provide most spare parts for nearly every make and model of Conveyors including complete belt assemblies. Additionally, we will review worn, existing Conveyors for complete rebuilds versus pricey replacement costs proposed by others.
